Great for learning new vocabulary and studying basic grammar. Multiple languages available.

Youtube channel with lots of videos about grammar, pronunciation, news, and popular discussion topics to help you learn American English.

TEFL Training Institute Podcast
A great podcast covering all sorts of teaching related topics. Target audience: English teachers, trainers, and managers.

English Teaching Forum
A Quarterly journal for English teachers, written by English teachers from around the world. The journal is culminated and published by the U.S. Department of State. It includes pedagogy, trends, and lesson ideas for the English language classroom, whether it be in a classroom or online.

A great tool for online classes or study tool. Gamify your vocab and grammar with ease.

Oxford University Press’ Teacher’s Club
A great resource with quite a bit of free material. You can subscribe to their newsletter to receive information about free webinars, additional resources, and the latest in best practices.

toPhonetics
A great tool to help you write words phonetically, or when you aren’t sure how to pronounce them yourself.

Kahoot.com
Another way to gamify your lessons. Students log-on with their phone, tablet or computer and compete individually or in teams. Great for online or onsite classes.

MacMillan Education Teacher Resources
Sift through their ads for their materials and teacher training courses and you can find some pretty decent lesson plans, materials, informative PDFs, and helpful blog posts.
FREE – but some information is catered to teachers who use their coursebooks, which are obviously not free

Crash Course: Linguistics
A new Youtube series from the excellent Crash Course team. It dives into the basics of Linguistics and is a great way to introduce yourself to things like syntax and morphemes.

Super Simple
Lots of free printables and other resources for teaching kids. Most resources accompany a song that’s available on their youtube channel.
