I began my teaching career at a school in rural Oregon (USA). I taught drama and dramatic literature to children in grades 6 through 12. It was a great experience that taught me a lot about learning, teaching, communication, and people. When I felt that my time in that town was over, I moved to Shanghai and had my first experience teaching English as a foreign language. Many years later, I am CELTA certified and have made a home in Stuttgart and continue to teach English.
I apologize in advance for my terrible German and French; I am still learning. I live in Germany and my boyfriend is French… I’m learning both languages at the same time. Eek!
